DESCRIPTION Four weir plates of different shape are provided allowing familiarization and comparison with theory. The unit  include: v A delivery nozzle to replace the quick release connector in the base of the Hydraulics Bench. v A stilling baffle which locates into slots in the walls of the channel. v A Vernier hook and point gauge which is mounted on an instrument carrier capable of moving along the channel. v A rectangular notch weir and a vee notch weir which are clamped to the weir carrier integrated as standard on the Hydraulics Bench by thumb nuts for testing. v Height of weir plate  not exceed 1m from the floor v A comprehensive instruction manual including full laboratory experiments along with help texts detailing experimental procedures.
